Erin Okuno, Executive Director, has experience with K-12 and early learning education policy, supporting public libraries and developing coalitions. Through these experiences, she developed a deep interest in racial equity, which prepared her to lead SESEC. Erin is a Seattle Public School and previously a Seattle Preschool Program parent. She and her family reside in South Seattle. On the side she enjoys borrowing too many books from the library and fretting over not finishing them on time and checking out South Seattle’s delicious eats. Erin graduated from Seattle University with an MPA.
