Jewyl Alderson believes all students should graduate with the knowledge, skills and abilities to make informed decisions about their future! After spending 10 years teaching Chemistry, Biology, Earth Science & Math at Eastlake High and High Tech High, and developing a Medical Pathway at Eastlake High, Jewyl went on to design career contextualized curriculum and lead professional development for high schools through the community college Regional Pathways project. Jewyl now supports college and career readiness for the half million students in the region with a focus on pathways as an administrator at the San Diego County Office of Education, empowering leaders and educators to guide students as they explore and determine the right path for their career goals.
