Kris Swanson is an Innovation Specialist at Pine Crest School in Boca Raton, FL where he works with PK - 8th Grade students and their teachers to integrate making into the school's traditional curriculum. He is also the co-creator and owner of Young Makers Lab, a makerspace for kids in South Florida which offers camps, classes, and robotics teams outside of school. He has been an educator in museums and schools for over 25 years, serving as a Planetarium Director, Science Lab Instructor, 5th Grade teacher, and District Technology Specialist.
