Proud owner of TexasTARDIS the 2005 Mini Cooper S, same name as Owner. Quite by accident. I followed advice from a friend so as to remember my own Mini Cooper's name. YES, ALL MINI COOPERS must be named I am told. And wave to other owners too! It's courteous and fun! And in carshows we gather together! Like an extended family. Total strangers sharing fun stories about what we discover about our Minis. Mine is no different! She is a treasure! I got her on July 13th, 2013. Specifically to make her a TARDIS so my Autistic son would gobtonschool. He was throwing tantrums. At the time, he loved 2 TV shows...Doctor Who and Go Diego Go! So, I couldn't get him a jaguar pet so I got him a TARDIS! This Mini Cooper has been BBC approved to do Comic Cons and Car shows since 2015! We have done other shows since August 4th 2013, but didn't know we needed permission until our first Comic Con even tho we were doing it for free! We were doing this to spread Awareness on mental health and Autism. My son had told me he loved the show because the Doctor thinks just like him, in a round about way. He has the answers and sometimes has trouble explaining the answers, needs a companion to ground him/her and keep them focused. And they fix things. The need to fix things is always there.
