My series, “A Legacy Of The Pacific,” began as a YA novel and has spun off into a separate series of children’s books that teach young people about our ocean environment. A diverse group of heroes—the young prince, Pincin, his mermaid sisters, the Princesses Ciona-Mara and Bualile and their friends—rescue sea creatures in distress and protect the ocean from environmental hazards. Along the way, they also teach those on land to recycle and respect the Earth’s oceans as our most essential and vital resource. Coming soon: “Pincin And The Sharks,” an adventure which features a noted local marine scientist as its co-star.
