Life is a complicated series of events, designed just to get one out of bed in the morning./ I’ll start a revolution, if I can get up in the morning.

My name is Robert James. I’m a struggling screenwriter/ filmmaker, or as friend tells me, an up and coming screenwriter and filmmaker. I’m in the process of setting up my production company and trying to get a project, well several projects off the ground.

But who am I really? That’s a very good question. I’m a writer, a filmmaker, I like writing music (or at least try), and I like to paint. People have called me a bit of a rebel; some have even called me a scoundrel. I’m an artist, a romantic an adventurer. I was born in Monterey Park, Ca. I was extremely board in school. In high school I feel in love with writing. It was probably the only thing that got me A’s.

I went to Pasadena City College were I discovered acting. During my summers to earn extra money, I worked as a movie extra. That’s were I fell for what was happening behind the scenes. That’s when I knew I wanted film making to be part of my life. I just need the right story to tell. And like I always say, “It’s a slow and painful process.” But, I think and kind of know that it will happen soon.

As for being a romantic? Well, sometime it feels that I’m all alone in the world when it comes to that. I still believe that there can be love that can turn worlds inside out and topple the mightiest of kingdoms and overcome any and all obstacle. I think that people don’t lay there hearts on the line enough.

Now as for the adventure. I love it. I’m almost up for anything. It just depends how lazy I am at that time. There are times that I wish I had the resources to just travel all over and nothing else.

The rebel? I like going against the norm. I will take a stand for what I think is right and go against what I feel is wrong.

Now, why no picture? I hate having pictures taken of me. I like to be behind the camera. Besides, I would only disappoint you (or scare you). If you want a description then let me tell you that my friends say I look nothing like George Clooney and less like Johnny Depp. I know that’s not much to go on, but that’s all I’ll give for now. I have to have some fun.
