I'm a 53yo comic fan and work for the library. I started reading comics in mid 70's (Kamandi was my favorite) and grew into a golden age specialist as my interest was learning the history of comics. I actually liked learning about the creators as much as the stories. Around 2002 I switched to collecting original comic art. I enjoyed meeting many of my childhood heroes from attending Comic Con, including Will Eisner, Nick Cardy, and Al Feldstein.
